Workshop on News Analysis

Location: Ministry of Trade, Jakarta

Objectives: The workshop is intended to increase the capacity of the Media Monitoring Team to produce better news analysis reports for MOT.

Participant: Media Monitoring Team.  This team works on news analysis and produces daily and weekly news analysis reports to be distributed to MOT’s senior officials.
 
Facilitated by: Ignatius Haryanto, a speaker on various media issues for national and regional level, founder of the Agency of Media Studies & Development, also a media consultant.  He has extensive experience as a trainer related to journalism, media analysis and media relations. Some of the beneficiaries are IASTP (Indonesia-Australia Specialized Training Programme), LGSP, UNESCO, ASEAN journalists, Citibank and Conoco Philips. He is also contributor for Kompas, The Jakarta Post, Majalah Tempo and Koran Tempo.
